Any international student who has graduated with a Bachelors of Science of Biology or other related degrees in Biomedical, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, B.Pharmacy, Bachelor of Dental Sciences etc can enroll into the CalGenetics Internship Program.
International students should possess a first class Bachelor's degree with good subject knowledge in Cellular Biology and qualify in one of the English Language Proficiency tests either in TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.5 or equivalent tests approved by CSU.
The primary objective of the CalGenetics Internship Program is to provide an international exposure for international students to study for gaining knowledge in Genetics and Genomics and to enable them to get practical industrial experience.
The CalGenetics Internship Program has been designed in a holistic way to enable students gain fundamental knowledge of the various aspects pertaining to Genetics and Genomics so that they can later apply their knowledge in their work sphere.
There are nine courses to be studied at CalGenetics during the nine period pertaining to Cellular Biology, Nucleic Acids at Molecular Level, Genetic Engineering, Human Genomics, Basics of Genetics, Mutation & Mutation Analysis, Cancer Genetics etc.
International Students should enroll into the 2 year Masters program at the California State University to qualify for work up to 9 months of work after 9 months of study under the Curricular Practical Training (CPT) offered by CSU.
